Great Manchester Run

As you’re all aware, the COVID-19 pandemic means an unprecedented amount of disruptions into peoples lives. Many of our running events are affected by the outbreak and will not take place as scheduled. The decision has been made based on the Government advice and Health Officials to prevent the virus from spreading.

The Great Manchester Run was planned to take place on Sunday 24th May 2020 is now postponed until Sunday 23rd May 2021.

This fantastic, fun filled event covers a distance of 6.2 miles (10K) through Manchester City Centre.  Around 30,000 participants take part and it is greatly supported by the cheering crowds of spectators.

There is a 10k option or if you would like a bigger challenge; a Half Marathon option of 13.1 miles.

Whilst taking part in this run, you will pass some fantastic sights, including the Old Trafford Football Stadium and the Coronation Street set.

There is no minimum sponsorship required, anything you raise will contribute towards making some really magical wishes a reality for some very poorly children.
