As you’re all aware, the COVID-19 pandemic means an unprecedented amount of disruptions into peoples lives. Many of our fundraising events are affected by the outbreak and will not take place as scheduled. To ensure the safety of our golfers we have made the decision to postpone the charity golf day.
The charity golf day was planned to take place on Friday 14th August 2020 is now postponed until Friday 16th October 2020.
We hope you will join us on Friday 16th October 2020 as this date falls on our official 30th anniversary of granting handcrafted wishes to children and young people suffering with life-threatening and terminal illnesses across Great Britain.
The golf day is once again being held at the award winning Dudsbury Golf Club in Ferndown, Dorset. This golfing destination has hosted many events such as, PGA Europro Tour as seen on Sky Sports, and the BMW PGA Order of Merit Championship – as well as the EGU McGregor Tournament and England Champion Club.
We are committed to providing wishes to very sick children to give them some hope and joy during a very traumatic time in their life and will be raising much needed funds to continue our work.
The usual format of 4 players per team with the best two Stableford scores counting on each hole.
The entry fee will be £240 per team of 4 (£60 per player) and the benefits of our charity golf day will include the following:
